Action and Solutions can teach your company or organization how to create Internet radio and television inexpensively and still reach large audiences.

On Wednesday, November 17, from 9am- Noon at the Long Beach Non Profit Partnership, Action and Solutions.com will put the power of media in your hands. From Radio to television podcasts, from Youtube to Facebook, you too can harness the power of the Internet to share your stories, services and products.

I have decades of radio and television experience in front and behind the camera. I spent twenty plus years producing live television in Hollywood. A good part of those years were on the best red carpet award shows like the Grammys, the Emmys and the Oscars.

You may not want to produce a daylong big event television show but that’s no reason that your production can’t be as exciting and professional.

For more information, go to www.actionandsolutions.com. You can register for the November 17th workshop at Long Beach Non Profit Partnership. You can find the registration form at www.lbnp.org/upcomingevents.

Public Access on Cable Television was, from the seventies to the nineties, was a community serving concept: Provide Access to media for ordinary citizens who might otherwise never have a voice. While it's been most known for its more radical antics and wild clownish programming, it has served an important role in many communities. But as the technology has changed in the 21st century, many have questioned the relevance of Public Access. In Designing the Digital City, Public Access is the foundation for an entirely new communications system in Long Beach. In a city of nearly half a million people under served by electronic media (no local TV stations and only one local radio station with no public affairs programming), we offer a design for a Digital City where all residents can have a voice and speak to each other as never before. In episode one, the Big Picture.
